MCI Collective is leading the Westside Village development, a transformative housing initiative in Newark’s West Ward. In partnership with the City of Newark, which provided a subsidy, this project will deliver 36 high-quality apartment homes across two complementary sites while ensuring four deeply affordable units for residents earning 30% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
Westside Village 2 at 518-530 S 16th Street will feature a four-story, 20-unit apartment building with five one-bedroom and 15 three-bedroom units, plus parking for 10 vehicles. Westside Village 1 at 538-540 S 16th Street will introduce 16 units across four four-story buildings, offering four two-bedroom and 12 three-bedroom units, with parking for four residences.
By integrating intentional design with accessible affordability, Westside Village reflects MCI Collective’s commitment to sustainable growth, neighborhood stability, and expanded housing opportunities in Newark’s West Ward.
