DENEEN ESTATES

MCI Collective was awarded a Request for Proposals (RFP) by the City of Newark and subsequently acquired five parcels of land in the Central Ward for the development of Deneen Estates. This mixed-use project will feature 35 residential units, including 12 designated as affordable housing, along with 1,888 square feet of retail space.

Designed to serve the needs of both local families and businesses, Deneen Estates will provide high-quality housing for households earning between 40% and 80% of the area median income (AMI). By integrating residential and commercial spaces, the development will contribute to the neighborhood’s economic vitality, creating opportunities for small businesses while increasing access to stable, affordable housing. Additionally, Deneen Estates is designed to enhance the surrounding community by fostering walkability, encouraging local commerce, and providing a modern, thoughtfully planned living environment. The project represents MCI Collective’s commitment to equitable development and long-term neighborhood revitalization in Newark’s Central Ward.
